Terms and conditions
Terms of Out of Area B.V. for the sale of the book Pura Vida and for assignments. In case of any difference, the Dutch version prevails.

Part A · Sale of Pura Vida
2. Offer and price
Pura Vida, De zoektocht naar een evenwicht, is a Dutch-language management book, self-published by Out of Area B.V. The price is €35 per copy, including VAT and shipping, for delivery in the Netherlands, Belgium and the rest of the European Union.
3. Contract and payment
The contract is concluded when we confirm your order by email. The confirmation includes a payment link. We ship the book once payment has been received. On request, you will receive an invoice in the name of your organisation.
4. Delivery
We aim to ship the book within five working days of payment, and deliver within 30 days at the latest. If we cannot, we will let you know and you may cancel the contract free of charge.
5. Cooling-off period and withdrawal
If you are a consumer, you have a cooling-off period of 14 days from the day you receive the book. You can cancel the purchase without giving a reason via the Cancel a purchase page or by email. You then return the book within 14 days; the cost of returning it is yours. We refund the purchase price, including the original shipping costs, within 14 days of your notification. We may withhold the refund until we have received the book or you have shown that you have sent it back. If you handle the book beyond what is needed to inspect it, we may charge for any loss in value.
6. Complaints
If the book is damaged or something is not right, please let us know as soon as possible at w.bos@outofarea.nl. We will respond within 14 days. Your statutory consumer rights always apply.
Part B · Assignments
7. Proposal and assignment
For diagnoses (including the FutureProofScan), training, coaching, team development and interventions (including the DGI), we prepare a tailored proposal or quotation. The assignment is concluded when you accept it in writing or digitally. The proposal takes precedence over these terms.
8. Delivery of services
We carry out assignments to the best of our knowledge and ability. This is an obligation of effort: we do not guarantee any particular result. We treat all information from an assignment as confidential.
9. Cancelling and rescheduling
Arrangements for cancelling or rescheduling sessions are set out in the proposal.
10. Payment
Invoices are payable within 30 days of the invoice date, unless agreed otherwise in the proposal.
11. Liability
Our liability is limited to the amount invoiced for the assignment concerned, or to the amount paid out by our insurer in the case concerned. We are not liable for indirect loss. This limitation does not apply in the event of intent or wilful recklessness.
12. Intellectual property
The FutureProofScan, the Directive Phased Intervention, the Out of Area compass, Pura Vida and related materials are the property of Out of Area B.V. You may not copy or distribute them without our written permission.
Part C · Final provisions
13. Governing law
These terms and all contracts are governed by Dutch law. If you are a consumer in another EU country, you keep the protection given to you by the law of your own country.
