Who we are
Out of Area B.V., Geysselberg 41, 5856 BB Wellerlooi, the Netherlands, Chamber of Commerce no. 17087248, is the controller for personal data processed through this website. Please send privacy questions to w.bos@outofarea.nl.
What data and why
- Contact. If you email or call us, we use your name, email address, phone number and message to answer your question.
- Orders of Pura Vida. Name, email address, address, organisation and VAT number if given, quantity and payment details. We need these to perform the sales contract: to ship the book and issue an invoice.
- Assignments. Contact details of clients and contact persons, for proposals, delivery and invoicing.
How long we keep data
We keep contact messages no longer than needed to deal with them. We keep invoices and related data for seven years, as required by Dutch tax law.
FutureProofScan
Data that participants enter in the FutureProofScan is not covered by this statement. For each assignment, we make separate arrangements with the client, including a data processing agreement. Questions can be sent to support@futureproofscan.com.
Sharing with others
We do not sell data. We only share data where necessary, for example with a payment provider, a carrier delivering the book or our accountant.
Cookies and fonts
This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics or tracking services. Fonts are loaded from Fontshare, which means your IP address is shared with that service, as with any web page that loads external files.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or erase your data, or to restrict processing. You can also object or ask for your data to be transferred. Send your request to w.bos@outofarea.nl; we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or the supervisory authority in your own country.
Security
We take appropriate measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorised use.
